Design meets Nature at Purpose Preschool
At Purpose Preschool, nestled in the heart of South Edmonton, we embrace nature in all aspects of our education. We are passionate about fostering a love of learning, independence and a connection to the beautiful world around us.
These values shine through in the design of our brand new Montessori Preschool! We are so excited to share this vision with you and to introduce you to our award-winning designer, Aness Handous from Tailored Interior.
Tailored Interior has been recognized as one of the top 60 design firms in the world and we are so fortunate to have her on board to bring our preschool to life.
Her work was recently shortlisted for a total of 10 categories amongst the world’s best designs and projects at the International Design and Architecture Awards in London - congrats Aness!!
Aness brings a wealth of talent and experience to our preschool project and has designed a space to inspire, captivate and nurture young minds. Here's a preview of what's coming to Edmonton at Purpose Preschool:
Sneak Peek: Design Elements
Natural Elements: Natural textures and finishes incorporating wood, stone, and greenery.
High Quality Materials: Finishes and furniture have been intentionally chosen to be not only beautiful but multi-purpose and built to last.
Outdoor Classroom: Our 3100 sq ft natural outdoor area provides a place for children to connect with nature, explore, and learn through outdoor activities.
Eco-friendly: We are committed to sustainability, and our interior will feature eco-friendly materials.
Spacious and Open: Large windows will span our 3000 sq ft indoor space creating no shortage of natural light.
Meets the Children’s Needs: All children will feel at home with accessible child height sinks, washrooms, tables, chairs and even a whimsical crawl-through doorway to encourage exploration and discovery.
Finishes inspired by nature
Our indoor space will feel like an extension of the outdoors with beautiful, textural, and natural materials inspired by nature.
