Program Schedule
Our preschool program is designed to accommodate you and your child's schedule.
We offer small, mixed ability classes with ratios of 1:8 or less to focus on the needs of every individual child.
We welcome all children ages 3 to 6 years old.
Full-Time
Morning Session:
5 days/week
Monday - Friday,

Our 2024/2025 morning session is officially full. If you're still interested in a morning spot, we recommend registering for our part-time afternoons to secure your child's place and get on the waitlist for mornings.
Afternoon sessions are a fantastic opportunity to ease your child into the school routine with our 2 or 3 day/week options.
If full-time suits your family best, you can choose to attend all 5 afternoons days - we are here to meet your needs!
Morning spots will be offered to existing families first, so this is the best way to join our amazing Purpose Preschool family!
Need an extra hour in your day?
Introducing our 'Purpose Plus' optional add-on hour,
where you can seamlessly extend your preschool session from 8 AM to 12 PM or 1 PM to 5 PM!
Whether you need extra time regularly or as an occasional drop off option, this flexible service has you covered.
Imagine an extra hour to enjoy that morning coffee, to catch up on work, tackle that to-do list, or to simply savour a quiet moment alone.
We've got your back! Bring your child's breakfast, pack an extra snack, and our caring team will be there to take care of the rest!

A Day in the Life at Purpose
Our curriculum is carefully prepared to meet the developmental needs of each child. Your child’s classroom is filled with purposeful materials that encourage exploration, discovery, and hands-on learning. We provide a framework to our day and, within that, children are given the freedom to choose their activities and work at their own pace, allowing them to develop a deep sense of self-direction and the ability to make meaningful choices.
Here’s a look at our daily rhythm at Purpose Preschool:

- We individually greet your child with a warm and inviting hello, welcoming them to their space and starting the day on a positive note.
- Children hang up their own belongings, encouraging independence and confidence.

- Children will choose an activity of their choice as others arrive and they settle into their day.

- Teacher gathers with students to learn and share, developing social interaction and a sense of community.
- Dynamic activities include storytelling, interactive discussions, singing, seasonal and weather connections, and mindful movement exercises.

- Children choose activities from various Montessori materials and work independently or in small groups.
- Teachers share individualized or small group presentations, and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Emphasis on practical life, sensorial, language arts, science and math activities and builds essential skills and a love for learning.

- Children will explore their creative talents in the arts and music in our beautiful Art Workshop.
- We will explore monthly themes and engage with artistic and natural materials.
- Encourages creativity and self-expression.

- Includes fun and engaging activities such as a climbing wall, pickler triangle/slide, balance boards/beams, etc.
- Develops gross motor skills, coordination, and confidence.
