Sarah, Principal
Introducing Sarah, the visionary Principal and heart and soul behind Purpose.
With over a decade as a Teacher in the UK, Sarah brings a wealth of knowledge and teaching experience to our preschool.
Sarah's Montessori training has provided her with a strong foundation, yet she also embraces 21st-century research, ensuring that our education approach is both holistic and contemporary. She combines Montessori principles with the latest educational insights, crafting an environment (both indoor and outdoor) where children can truly thrive.
Sarah values a vibrant and inclusive community where diversity is not just acknowledged, but celebrated. As a dedicated mother of three wonderful children, she understands the importance of creating a welcoming, second home for every child who enters our doors. Sarah believes in embracing each child's individuality, and is dedicated to fostering a sense of belonging and love for everyone in our Purpose family.
Sarah loves cooking, gardening, running and you can often find her adventuring in the river valley with her family.
We are incredibly grateful to have her kind-hearted spirit leading the way at our Preschool, guiding our young learners and our team with her wisdom and warmth!
Laura, Teacher Lead
Meet Laura, our vibrant Preschool Teacher Lead, who brings a wealth of experience in early childhood education and athletic program development.
Laura enriches our team with her diverse background as a Preschool Teacher, Educational Assistant, and Gymnastics Program Director/Coach. She ensures that our preschoolers not only thrive intellectually but also develop a strong foundation in physical well-being.
With a passion for holistic learning and a history as a gymnastics program director, Laura shines as a leader and mentor. She leads with a genuine warmth and nurturing approach to early childhood education and is dedicated to fostering physical literacy in our community.
Laura enjoys reading, exercising and spending time with her family and four young grandchildren.
We're so honoured to have Laura lead our team, driving our values for nurturing well-rounded, curious, and active young learners. She is a true gem, bringing joy (and baking) to our days at Purpose.
Christine, Creative Director
Say hello to Christine, our Creative Director and Early Childhood Educator. Whether she's teaching in the classroom, designing learning materials, planning family events, or working behind the scenes, Christine brings creativity, warmth, and thoughtful attention to everything she does.
With a background in design and a passion for early childhood education, Christine helps create engaging learning experiences for children while ensuring every detail of Purpose reflects the welcoming, connected community we strive to build. She believes every child deserves to feel seen, celebrated, and inspired to explore their unique interests.
When she's not at preschool, you'll often find Christine with her nose in a good book or exploring nature with her husband and two growing children.
